Global Children held a silent auction to raise funding for its programs on
April 12, 2003. The event brought Global Children supporters, donors, and
Board members together for an intimate evening with Cambodian food,
beautiful art and a slide show to raise awareness of current and future
programs.
Extraordinary works of art by Meridel Rubenstein, Marco Cannon, Marcia
Keegan, Hon Sophea, Melissa Scheid Frantz, Sumayyah Samaha, Jonathan Blum
and more were available for bidding. (Images of the artwork can be seen
below.) The event was a success generating more support for future projects
and raising nearly $5,000 for current programs.
